Our Campuses: Foundations for Youth Leadership and a Healthier World
Every FFI campus is a living classroom where young people build the skills, confidence, and empathy to lead. From the coast of New Hampshire to the rainforest of Belize to the shores of Northern Ireland, these spaces are where students disconnect from distractions and reconnect with purpose, each other, and the natural world. In order to do this, we are continuously upgrading our campuses.

Thanks to a few generous supporters, we have already made major progress. In New Hampshire, a new ADA-compliant bathroom has made our headquarters more inclusive. In Northern Ireland, new gardens and signage now welcome youth and community members to our Annalong Center. In Belize, alumni restored the Rainforest Academy and began preparing the newly gifted Dos Amigos campus for future programming.
But there is much more to be done.

With your designated gift, we will be installing ramps and trails to make our spaces fully accessible. We will bring solar energy to all three campuses to model sustainability and transform our landscapes with native plants and rewilding projects that support health, biodiversity, and reflection.
Our vision is bold and deeply rooted: campuses that reflect the values we teach—empathy, inclusion, and environmental care. When you support our campus projects, you are investing in youth leaders and in the kind of world they will create. See highlights below!

FFI Headquarters
We’re excited to share that FFI’s campus is getting a fresh new look—one that reflects both our youth-centered mission and connection to the natural world. Both buildings have been repainted, with updated woodwork that adds warmth and character. The Farmhouse now has a classic Colonial style that’s bright and welcoming, while the Office features a modern yet grounded look—mirroring the creativity and energy of our programs.

We want our campus to feel inviting, fun, and uniquely us—reflecting a commitment to nature, community, and learning. Future updates will focus on ecologically friendly landscaping using native plants and outdoor spaces for reflection, connection, and environmental education.
A huge thank you to Chuck Hugo, owner of Hugo Design in Kittery, Maine, and Sheri Gibson, owner of Rein & Co., who led the color selection and are continuing to guide the full beautification. Their creativity and generosity are helping FFI shine as a place people are excited to visit and happy to pass by each day. Learn more at www.ff.international/durham.
FFI Belize
This spring, FFI alumni traveled to Boom Creek, Belize to finalize updates to the Diane M. Seagren Rainforest Academy and prepare the site for future programming. Their efforts included repairing the concrete walkway from the dock to the main campus and constructing a traditional hearth using local techniques, guided by a volunteer from the community. The new hearth will allow future participants to cook for themselves while living sustainably off-grid in the rainforest, deepening their connection to local culture and the environment. FFI Center at Annlaong
FFI’s Center at Annalong has undergone exciting improvements to better serve our youth, alumni, and the wider community. Over the past few months, we’ve added raised community garden beds, benches throughout the property, a new fire pit gathering space, patios on each cottage, and updated landscaping to make the campus more welcoming and accessible. New signage and additional CCTV cameras have also been installed to enhance both safety and ease of navigation. These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to making the Center a vibrant, inclusive hub for connection, reflection, and growth. Learn more at www.ff.international/annalong.
Letter from the CEO
Dear Friends,

For the last almost forty years, Friends Forever International has empowered young leaders to become the best versions of themselves so that they can help their community become the best version of itself. In that time, we have had over 2,000 participants from around the world come together for our leadership programs that involve both work in their homelands and an intense training phase at one of our campuses. Every year, the global demand for our programs increases. In years past, we turned away dozens of highly qualified participants annually because FFI did not have campuses to host them…until now.
In the last seven years, we have been able to secure the following properties:

Our Global Headquarters – an office and residential farmhouse on 2.6 acres in beautiful Durham, New Hampshire
Our FFI Center in Annalong – a 70-bed campus with a dormitory, private cottages, conference space, and an industrial kitchen right between Belfast and Dublin on the Irish Sea
Our Diane M. Seagren Rainforest Academy – 30 acres of rainforest on the river down from the Gulf of Honduras.
Our Leonard Seagren Home - a programming and Airbnb historic home and host space located on the water in New Castle, New Hampshire.
Dos Amigos Clinic - a dormitory located in Punta Gorda, Belize.
These campuses are essential to our growth and stability. They provide us with the opportunity to host international and national programs all year long and educational events for the local community on three different continents. They also provide us with opportunities to generate revenue to sustain our programming for the next thirty-five years.
A cornerstone of the project will be environmental sustainability as well. For example, at our Global HQ in Durham, we have installed a full array of solar panels and high-efficiency heating and cooling systems in both buildings. Our Rainforest Academy campus is designed to be completely off the grid as well. We envision these properties as amazing spaces for our programs and that they will inspire all guests to live in a more thoughtful and planet-conscious way.
Unlike just about every other capital campaign, the FFI Global Campuses have been extraordinarily inexpensive. The total cost for all six properties and their renovations is well under 2 million dollars. Yet, we still need more than $950,000 to complete the renovations and pay off all the debt.

There are numerous naming opportunities at every level, and we hope you will consider joining the people below in investing in our campus that literally spans the globe. I guarantee you will be amazed by what we have already done with so little. You will not look at any capital campaign again without thinking about what your gift has helped FFI accomplish.
I look forward to having you come to visit soon to see firsthand why we are so excited.
Sincerely,
Stephen Martineau
