HOW we achieve our WHY
Application Deadline: October 1, 2020
Are you interested in participating in one of the most challenging youth leadership programs in the country? Looking to be trained on how to transform your desire to make the world a better place with the practical skills necessary to do so? Want to develop a global network of motivated peers who share your vision for a better planet?
For the first time in FFI's 34 year history, any young person between the ages of 15-18 (must be currently enrolled in high school) can directly apply to an exciting FFI program. We are happy to announce a brand new program model developed in response to broad changes that have taken place in 2020. This will be an intense program with three distinct schedule options.
New England Leadership Building with International Trip
New England Leadership Building
Virtual Leadership Program
This is our signature youth leadership program. Individual youth will be placed in a team with other applicants to participate in a yearlong program of 50% in-person activities*, including an international trip to Northern Ireland in 2021, and 50% virtual sessions using Zoom and Google Classroom.
This new version of our signature program occurs entirely in New England. 50% of this program will be in-person activities* while the other 50% will utilize Zoom and Google Classrooms. This will be an intense 12-session program in line with FFI's organization values and leadership curriculum.
Our new Virtual Leadership Program occurs entirely online using Zoom and Google Classroom. This is an intense, 12-session program organized around FFI's RECIPE and based on our core curriculum.
