The FFI Host Site in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois has hosted teams from the Middle East Program since 2013. Each summer the Bloomington-Normal community hosts a delegation of 10 of Arab and Jewish students from the FFI Middle East program for the intense, 2-week Skill Building Phase of their year-long program! The training in the US centers around the FFI RECIPE. Each component is designed to prepare the students for the remainder of the program, called the Community Building Phase, back home.

From spending time at Illinois State University to visiting Weldon Farm, the group will completely immerse themselves in the local culture during their time in Illinois. Part of what makes FFI’s programs unique is the way they allow people from all backgrounds to directly participate in the international peace process.  If you'd like to get involved, you can suggest and/or financially support a specific activity or contact us to find out more about how you can help grow world peace locally!

If you would like to learn more about how to get involved please contact Community Coordinator, Roger Schmidgall at Friends.forever.bn@gmail.com or 309-826-9491.  You can also "Like" our Facebook page to the side.  If you would like to support FFI in the Bloomington-Normal Community financially, you can donate directly or fundraise on your own using the links below.
