Interns at Friends Forever International work primarily in Administrative roles at the Peace Campus in Durham, NH. This often means doing the essential groundwork that is present at all nonprofits: mailings, lots of filing, database organization, and more filing. Occasionally, other types of jobs pop up like volunteering in the FFI Peace Garden, preparing materials for programs, or working on videos for our Youtube channel. Many of our interns are looking for experience in an office setting and our open-concept office means there are plenty of opportunities to observe the nonprofit world in action. The combined efforts of our interns free up our staff to focus on developing and implementing our programs.
FFI is open for internship applications on a rolling basis and can be reasonably flexible when scheduling hours. In the past, we've worked with students on internships for college credit and with students who are looking for work experience to add to their resume. Currently, FFI only offers unpaid internships.
