FFI’s Credit-Bearing Programs are weeklong residential leadership experiences for New Hampshire high school and homeschool students ages 14–18. Students participate in hands-on learning while earning high school credit through New Hampshire’s Learn Everywhere initiative.

These programs are designed for students ages 14–18 who are enrolled in a New Hampshire high school or homeschool program.

Programs are most commonly based at FFI’s Global Headquarters in Durham, New Hampshire. Students stay overnight on campus and participate in a variety of on- and off-campus learning experiences.

Yes. Credit-Bearing Programs are typically weeklong residential experiences. Living and learning together is an important part of the FFI experience and allows participants to develop independence, teamwork, communication, and other skills outside of a traditional classroom.

Each program can offer up to 2.5 high school credits. The specific courses and credits offered vary depending on the program.

Credits earned through FFI's Learn Everywhere programs transfer to New Hampshire public high schools. FFI provides documentation of the courses, competencies, and credits successfully completed by each student. Transcripts are sent to participants’ schools once all required coursework is completed.

Homeschooled students may participate in the programs. Students attending schools outside the New Hampshire public school system also may participate but should speak with their school about how the credits will be recognized.

Program dates vary each year, but they are generally scheduled around New Hampshire school vacations, including February vacation, April vacation, and summer break. Upcoming opportunities are posted on FFI’s website when applications open.
