Our participants and partners come from many faith backgrounds and often come from places that have complex faith histories. During the 2-week Skill Building Phase, we introduce our youth to different faith traditions, some familiar and some brand new. These introductions can come in the form of interfaith days, attending religious services or events, and visiting places of worship including temples, mosques, and churches.
We’d be happy to get together and have a conversation about how to bring our programs to your community.
Some examples include:
Host FFI alumni as a speaker
Host a team for a service or event
Have a team present to your community
Host a team for dinner
Host an interfaith day for a team
Join the team on a hike
What We Can Do For You
Our teams, including teams of alumni, volunteer
in the community during the program times.
Together, they give back upwards of 1,800 hours
of service annually.
Some examples of volunteering our teams have
enjoyed with faith groups include:
Working with summer camp groups
Sharing their stories with the faith community
Administration help in office spaces
Serving or sorting food in a soup kitchen
Joining in on a community’s service event
